Point and line layout by Trimble M3

In this article, I have explained in Urdu/Hindi how to perform a layout on the Trimble Total Station M3 using the stakeout method for both single point and line layout.

Single Point Layout

When you select the stakeout option, you will see several options:

- Point
- Line
- Arc
- Alignment
- DTMS
- Elevation
- Resection
- End Cons Survey

To perform a single-point layout, click on the "Point" option. This will take you to another interface where you need to fill in:

- Point Name

- Increment

In the "Point Name" field, enter the name of the point or click on the arrow icon to get more options such as:

- List
- Wild Card Search
- Key In

If the points you need to stake out are saved in your job, click on "List" to see the points list saved in your job. If you want to manually enter and stake out a new point, select "Key In."

Line Layout

To perform a line layout, select "Line" after clicking the stakeout option. This will present you with more options such as:

- First Point
- Last Point

Enter the point names for the first and last points of the line. You will see additional options on the same screen. Once you have entered the necessary information, click on "Start" to get the line layout interface.
